Dr. Giulia Tinari worked as an optician prior to obtaining her doctorate. Her deep knowledge of how glasses work allow her to perfect your prescription. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-Med from Cabrini College, Dr. Tinari attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University where she received her doctorate in 2014. Dr. Tinari completed a series of internships including The Eye Institute, Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and Kremer Laser Eye Center where she earned clinical honors.

Dr. Tinari specializes in primary medical eyecare including the treatment and management of glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, with a speciality in the treatment and management of dry eye disease. She also provides eye care for children ages 5 and older, and screens for binocular vision problems which could impact a child’s ability to succeed in school. Dr. Tinari provides pre and post-operative care for cataract and LASIK patients
Dr. Tinari is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Ocular Nutrition Society and the American Diabetes Association and served as an adjunct clinical preceptor to optometry students from Salus University. Through continuing education classes, she learns of the latest advancements in clinical care to better serve her patients.
Dr. Tinari always puts her patient first. When you sit in the exam chair, you leave knowing that you “weren’t just another patient”. It may feel like in today’s world, people are just looking at the clock and not taking their time. She takes pride in her work and enjoys stepping into work every day.
