Comprehensive Eye Exams

Comprehensive eye exams at Sorella Optique and Eyecare are performed by optometrist and co-owner Dr. Giulia Tinari for patients ages 5 and up. Digital refractive technology is used to refine your eyeglass prescription, and dilation or retinal photography is performed to examine your ocular health.

Annual eye exams are encouraged to maintain long-term eye health and to help detect systemic conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol, and hypertension—often identified during a dilated retinal exam.

Comprehensive exams also screen for conditions including glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, dry eye and inflammation, and binocular vision issues in children such as strabismus and amblyopia. The AOA recommends yearly eye exams for school-age children and for adults 60 and over.

Dr. Tinari has been practicing optometry in the area since 2014 and has experience treating a wide range of conditions, including dry eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration, corneal conditions, ocular emergencies, and diabetic retinopathy. She also works closely with local ophthalmologists to co-manage LASIK, PRK, ICL, and cataract patients.
